Good oral hygiene is essential for your oral health, overall health, and well-being. Preventive dentistry prevents tooth decay and gum disease onset, progress, and recurrence. To maintain optimal oral health, we recommend semi-annual professional dental cleanings to remove plaque and debris that can’t be removed with brushing and flossing and an oral exam from our dentist.
Whether it’s your little one’s first trip to the dentist, a routine visit, or treatment for a dental emergency, our pediatric dentist has the skills and caring chairside manner to deliver compassionate dentistry. To help your child maintain optimal oral health and a healthy and bright smile, we recommend dental checkups and cleanings twice a year. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist in Wallingford, CT, who understands the needs of youngsters, you’ll feel welcome and safe at our practice.
If you have ever had a toothache or sustained a dental injury, you know this can be a painful and upsetting experience. Getting some relief is critical to preventing further consequences to your oral health and overall well-being. If your child is knocked out a tooth or you have an infected tooth requiring a root canal, our dentist is dedicated to getting you back on the road to good oral health as quickly as possible!
Thanks to our in-house milling technology, we offer same-day crowns milled from high-quality porcelain. CEREC® technology eliminates the time-consuming conventional dental crown process, requiring multiple appointments over a few weeks. In just one visit, we remove decay and reshape your tooth, take digital impressions, send them to the milling machine to fabricate the crown, and then polish and place your beautiful new porcelain crown!
Composite resin fillings are an aesthetically pleasing alternative to amalgam fillings that precisely blend in with the color of your tooth enamel. Composite material is placed in layers, adheres to the surface, and is cured with a special light, thereby preserving more of your natural tooth structure. Unlike amalgam fillings, composite isn’t subject to expansion or contraction with temperature changes or associated with allergic reactions.
While a beautiful, healthy smile contributes to a positive self-image and helps you make a great first impression, most people have smile imperfections. Our cosmetic dentist combines an artistic eye and knowledge of facial aesthetics with cutting-edge technologies to deliver cosmetically pleasing smiles and long-lasting results. We offer porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and Invisalign®, as well as smile makeovers that involve a customized combination of cosmetic dentistry procedures to restore beautiful smiles!
Our dental team is passionate about providing you and your family one-on-one attention and personalized treatment. We use the latest modern dental technology and techniques to deliver efficient and highly effective services. If you’re looking for a trustworthy pediatric dentist or experienced family dentist near you in Wallingford, CT, who provides extraordinary dental care, you’ll be glad you chose Wolfy Dental Group!
